I am new to 3D scanning and I purchased the HDI Scanner from 3D3 solutions. The package was affordable and produces excellent scans, with sub-millimetre resolutions, impressive since I'm using cameras under 2 MP cameras. I have an unusual application (scanning rock surfaces) so the set-up was more complex than for other objects. The support I received from 3D3 solutions was very impressive: they were always ready to help with any questions I have. A good product and a good service.
