FlexScan3D Scan Modes
Flexscan3D Software supports single, duo and split scan modes.
Single Scan Mode
1 Camera + Projector. Ideal mode when scanning speed is a priority.
Pros:
- Perfect for single-view 3D scanning analysis
- Low hardware cost
- Fast scanning and processing time
Duo Scan Mode
2 Cameras + Projector. Offers higher accuracy data acquisition and a wider scanning window compared to the single scan mode.

- 3x accuracy versus a single camera
- High point density
- Ease of setup and portability
- Auto scan noise and distortion protection
New! Split Scan Mode
2 Cameras + Projector. The split scan mode runs two single scans at the same time and merges the results automatically for more complete scan results. Ideal mode when coverage is important. It scans the left and right sides of the face simultaneously.
Pros:
- Greater coverage area compared to the other scan modes
- Automatic merging of two single scans reduces scan editing time
