Features

Versatile

With FlexScan3D Development Kit, there is no need to purchase several 3D scanners for different applications. The system is capable of scanning objects of different shapes and sizes simply by adjusting the scanner’s field of view.

Affordable

Advance 3D scanning at a fraction of the cost of comparable 3D scanning systems build for industrial grade quality and geometry.

High Definition (HD) Resolution Scans with High Accuracy

The FlexScan3D Scanner uses two HD machine vision cameras to provide scans up to 50 micron accuracy.

3D SCAN OF PAPER TOWEL
Ability to Scan in Everyday Environments

Scans objects in everyday applications so there is no need to set up a special laboratory environment to conduct 3D scanning.

All-in-one solution

Users can skip the process of importing scan into third-party 3D-data processing software with FlexScan3D's basic alignment and merging capabilities.

Complete Coverage with Two Camera System (Split Scanner)

Two cameras capture more data by scanning two sides of an object simultaneously that would otherwise be hidden if scanning with only one camera (ie. sides of the nose).

Support 360° 3D Scanning with Automatic Merging and Alignment with Rotary Table System

The rotary table supports automated 360° scanning and automatically aligns and merges the scans to form a complete model. Rotary Table System sold separately.

COMPLETE 360° SCAN

High Resolution Color

Use a Digital SLR as a 3rd scanning camera to capture ultra high resolution color information. Color maps resolutions range from 6 to 24 megapixels depending on available DSLR cameras. For low resolution color capture, you can upgrade the basic black and white scanning cameras to color scanning cameras.

Multi-Scan Head

Control multiple scanners with a single PC and scan from multiple directions at once. This setup is ideal for 360° scans of people and faces as scan time is critical and it saves time using multiple scanners.

Automated Alignment Tools

Experienced 3D scanner users know that aligning and processing scan data is time consuming. Multiple methods are provided for aligning a variety of 3D scan data.

  • ICP Best Fit Alignment
  • Rotary Alignment (Single and 2 Axis)
  • Photogrammetric Dots for large objects (Coming Soon)
  • Reference objects for multiple scanner alignment
