Siggraph 2009: Build Your Own 3D Scanner Presentation
In the past, 3D scanners were only reserved for companies who had big budgets to purchase expensive systems. At Siggraph in New Orleans this year, professors from Brown University taught a course on how students and hobbyists can create low-cost homemade 3D scanners.

Thinking back to our humble beginnings, our company was founded on a similar idea of democratizing 3D scanning by offering the FlexScan3D Software at a fraction of the cost of comparable systems. We have since then added more features to FlexScan3D and have expanded to manufacturing an all-in-one scanner with the HDI Scanner.
