Often sample data is touched up. We believe in showing actual scans and results that customers can expect when using our 3D scanner in everyday scenarios.

Unless noted, all point data shown here is raw data. It's un-processed, and straight from FlexScan3D. Other than removal of background points there has been no smoothing or manual clean up .

The average point scan time took under 6 seconds, meshing and texturing took under 3 minutes. Our examples often show a wall or reference grid in the background. Those objects are not needed for the scanning process.

Boot

This is an example of a fully meshed boot. In this example, we did some manual processing that included alignment, smoothing, and hole filling. We also merged all the scan textures in to a single one using a FlexScan3D plugin for 3DSMax

Statue

This is an example medium sized statue. We got the textured mesh image from an integrated scan, the example point and mesh here are raw from the scanner.

Coin Scan Coin Scan Coin Image Face Scan Low Res Boot

Scanning was done using 800x600 projector and a Nikon D50. Meshing was done in RapidForm 2006 using mesh from points with no manual adjustments. Texturing done using FlexScan3D's automatc UV Projection.
